Board Members

Angie Wagner – President/Historian/Preservationist
Angie is the great-great-great granddaughter of William Henry Creed and William McLean Foster, who are two of the original founding members of Pleasant Hill.  The Foster family donated some their farm land for the church and cemetery and the Creed family (including her great-great grandfather John Creed, and great-grandfather Fred Creed) built the church that still stands today.  Following in her ancestors footsteps, she joined as a board member in 2017. Angie is also a volunteer genealogist for Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, MO and is a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

Doug Tropf – Vice President/Sexton/Maintenance Supervisor

Doug has volunteered at Pleasant Hill over the last several years including conducting a presentation on cemetery symbolism at a recent meeting. She is also a fellow volunteer genealogist with Angie at Bellefontaine Cemetery and has done genealogy research for over 50 years. Fun fact: Michele’s late husband is a not-too-distant relative of John Tilman, the town’s namesake.

Karen Tropf – Treasurer
Karen is married to the Maintenance Supervisor of the cemetery, David Tropf, and has been serving as the Secretary/Treasurer since 2000. She welcomes the opportunity to share her knowledge of Pleasant Hill and provides private tours of the church and cemetery in addition to keeping our records top notch.

Diane Reeves – Secretary

Diane’s family roots run deep at Pleasant Hill and she’s been involved for over 20 years ensuring the church and cemetery are well maintained.

Join us each May for our annual meeting!
